Last week, I had the privilege of attending the Straumann Northern Europe DSO Leadership Summit, an inspiring event bringing together dental leaders from across the UK and Europe.
Hosted by Straumann, a global leader in implant and digital dentistry, the summit served as a platform to explore not just clinical excellence and innovation, but also the future of dentistry from a leadership and strategic perspective. The conversations were dynamic and insightful.

What struck me most was how closely the themes of the summit aligned with the very values of Infinityblu: people-first practice, empowered teams, long-term vision, and delivering consistently high standards of care through systems that don’t lose the human touch.
Infinityblu started in 2007 as a single squat practice in Pitlochry with nothing but a vision, to put patients and team experience first, build long-term relationships, and innovate while staying true to our core values. Fast forward over 16 years, and we’ve grown to a multi-practice group spanning Perthshire, Stirlingshire, the Scottish Borders and Fife. But the mission has remained the same; to be driven by values, not volume.
Listening to leaders speak about scaling practices responsibly and authentically only reaffirmed my belief that real growth happens when you focus on building people, both patients and teams. Technology is critical and we’re proud of our investment in digital dentistry, but leadership, trust, and culture are what truly shape a successful dental group.
It was also incredibly refreshing to be in a space where collaboration was the tone of the day. Sharing ideas, challenges, and even failures openly was a reminder that leadership isn’t about knowing all the answers, it’s about being open.

As Infinityblu continues to evolve, this experience reinforced that we’re on the right path. The best outcomes, for patients, teams, and communities, come when vision is paired with integrity, innovation, and a deep commitment to delivering care with compassion.
Thanks again to Straumann for facilitating such an inspiring gathering. I left energised, connected, and more motivated than ever to continue leading Infinityblu with purpose, and with people at the heart of it all.
